Book I

In the beginning, in the midst of Chaos, Satan and his fallen angels are cast out of Heaven and into a dark pit. Satan rallies his minions and declares war against God.

Book II

Satan and his demons travel through Hell and reach the gates of Hell. They find that the gates are guarded by Sin and Death, who are siblings. Satan seduces Sin and convinces her to open the gates for him.

Book III

Satan and his demons enter Hell and find a burning lake of fire. They see the souls of the damned, who are being punished for their sins. Satan finds his own fallen angels, who have been transformed into serpent-like creatures.

Book IV

Satan and his demons travel to the edge of Hell, where they see the Earth and the newly created Garden of Eden. Satan becomes envious of the humans and decides to tempt them and destroy the garden.

Book V

Satan disguises himself as a serpent and approaches Adam and Eve in the garden. He tempts them with the forbidden fruit and they succumb to his temptation.

Book VI

God is alerted to the fall of Adam and Eve and sends the angel Raphael to warn them of the consequences of their actions. Raphael tells them about Satan and the fallen angels, and warns them of the impending war between Heaven and Hell.

Book VII

Adam and Eve are banished from the Garden of Eden and are forced to live in a world full of pain and suffering. They bear children and continue to pass on their sin to future generations.

Book VIII

Satan and his demons continue their war against God, causing destruction and chaos on Earth. God sends the archangel Michael to defeat Satan and his army.

Book IX

Michael and his angels fight against Satan and his demons. Satan is eventually defeated and cast back into Hell, where he is punished for his rebellion against God. Adam and Eve are given a glimmer of hope for redemption, but their future remains uncertain.
