Train to Pakistan is a historical novel written by Indian author Khushwant Singh. It was published in 1956 and is set in the partition of India in 1947. The novel follows the lives of various characters in the fictional village of Mano Majra, located on the border between India and Pakistan.

The book explores themes of love, loss, and violence during the partition, as well as the effects of religion on people’s lives.
